How to frag a Spaghetti Finger?

I have a Spaghetti Finger that I want to split.Any suggestions as to where to slice and how to attach to rock would be helpful.Thanks for any suggestions

cut a branch off,and try to get a toothpick and pierce the bottom part of the frag through the rock,or u can use a rubber band
