? How to frag acans

I have some acans i would like to frag. I know about the special saw but what i dont know is should they be glued to a frag disc and how do they heal and grow. Every one i have ever seen has always grown heads around the plug or stone and has never grown bigger than the item it is mounted too. If any one has info that would be great.

Dremel with a cutting wheel works like a charm for me. Cut down the centers of the acans that way both halves grow back.
