How to get a CBB to eat aptasia?

Chris brought home a beautiful Copperband Butterfly over a month ago. It is healthy and swims well. She is ~4 inches long and aside from acting like a complete dummy she is perfectly healthy.

Most people have a problem trying to get their CBB to eat any frozen foods once the Aptasia is gone from the tank, we have the opposite problem:

How do you get a CBB to eat aptasia? She is eating flakes, frozen, and pellets, but not the Aptasia like we wanted.

I am usually the one who gets into the tank with the Aptasia-X and kills them all simply out of spite and justice, but I haven't been able to kneel since my surgery.

One morning you will check the tank and won't see a single aptasia. That's what happened to my aptasia and I think it took the cb about 2 months to get the taste. Bad thing is after it ate all the aptasia it didn't care for frozen anymore and starved. Hope this isn't the case with yours. Gl

I've kept to the CBB in a acclimation box and added a piece of LR with aptasia.

+1 to the fact they will just all be gone one day too. Bummer is they will all come back in the same spots once the CBB is gone.

I got a CBB a few weeks back not knowing what i got myself into. I never had aptasia but it did eat all my amphipods. The first food i got it to eat was live blackworms. It loves them. It occasionally will take frozen blood worms and mysis. The problem for me is i don't like keeping live food. I found that it will eat freshly frozen black worms, so i can buy worms and just put them in the freezer. It is just a pain catering to its needs. It is a nice looking fish though.
