For about two weeks I've had an elegance (Cataphyllia jardinei). He's been doing great, expanding to about 1'x1' and taking three cubes of clam/mysis a day. But about five days ago my clowns starting spending a lot of time hovering nearby, and two days ago started hosting. At first it didn't bother her, but now she's only opening about 90%. I'm hoping it's just a bad day, but if the clowns' hosting begins to bother her, then I'll have to get her a new host (the clowns were chasing each other and doing the mating dance within six hours of fully adopting the host) and the elegance is one of my favorites as well as the centerpiece of the tank.
How can I lure my clowns into a new 'nem? And what 'nem do you recommend? I love carpets, but would like to avoid my fish being food.
