how to get a dartfish out of my display?

hi, anyone have any ideas on how to get a dartfish out of a display? ive made a bottle fish trap but he is super skiddish and tearing down my tank is not an option.

You could try crushing the barb on a small hook, baiting it with a favorite food, and fishing him out. As long as the barb is crushed it shouldn't cause him too much damage. You could also try feeding only in the trap, so that all of your fish have to go in it to eat. Once they get used to that its usually pretty easy to catch them, but it can take a couple weeks to get them used to it.
