How to get Cipro

I am looking to get a mag in the near future. I have a 60 cube that's about a year and a half old. It is mature stable and doing great. I am getting ready to try a mag. I have a 150 watt halide all set up with screens to limit the power. I have 2 ten gallon tanks with the heaters and pumps partitioned off.

I want to have atleast two treatments of cipro on hand so I have a buffer.

I am wondering where and how to get it. Most places require a script. The other stuff seems to be 4 times the price and marketed towards treating fish. I'm not sure if the fish stuff is as good as the people stuff.

Try your local veterinary clinic, explain what you want to use it for, show them photos of your tank.
Explain to them you only need a few doses(not enough to treat a person)

I purchased cipro from a regular pharmacy for $24. It was 20 pills, 500 mg. I did not run it through my insurance. I had a prescription. Don't ask.

I don't think the mail order pharms are that expensive until you tack on the shipping.
