Got a Sebae last week and want to know if there is anything I can do to get it to host my two clowns. Right now I don't think he's found a spot to call home yet. My clowns right now are in love with my cleaning magnet and the top two right corners. They are not chasing anything away from the magnet or corners so I'm not sure there hosting that section. Anyway just want to know if there is anything I can do to get the Sebae to host them. I know I need to wait till the Sebae finds a home but then what.......

hahha my true percs hosted to the cleaning magnet for months!!! eventually (6mos. lter) they found the anemone and now the female doesnt leave it... it will come in time

What kind of clowns. What I did for mine was when I was at the LFS I just looked about for a pair of clowns that were swimming in a anemone. some times it just happens they dont want to. At this one store there was like 12 ocellers clowns in a tanks with 2 GBT and not one of them cared about it.

That's the million-dollar anemone question, along with "How do I get my BTA to stay bubbled up?" Basically, BairdimusPrime got it right...it will happen in time, when the clowns decide they're ready.

Once your sebae finds a place it likes in your tank, and you begin to feed it, the feeding may make your clowns curious enough to check it out on their own.
It may take a couple of months, but they should slowly gravitate towards it.
Removing their current host should help as well.
I have both an RBTA and Sebae in my tank and none of my Percs want anything to do with the BTA.

So give it a little time and they should find it naturally.

I think there are actually a few different tricks you can do to try and get your clown to play hostee..

If your clowns were comfotablw in your tank well before the NEM got there then they have probably staked out a territory to at least sleep..

With one of my pairs I simply put a rock where they sleep.. They felt uncomfortable started looking for a new home and in the morning they were in te NEM..

My theory is that they just feel comfortable over time without an anemone, and with my clowns it was clear they had no desire to swim around the tank looking for a more suitable home.

Assuming you keep your magnet in 24/7, remove it. My clowns wouldn't leave their koralia1, I took it out and they were checking out my sebae in a day or two.
