How to get the best PE out of a SPS?

I know how to NOT get good PE. Emperor Angel. LOL!

Seriously though, keep the tank clean and feed a lot of oily stuff (shellfish usually, as mentioned above), and very fine particles, like cyclops.

Sometimes I actually think running carbon and gfo decrease my PE. One day I'll try to formulate an actual experiment with this theory.

Corals, all flavors need to be fed...maybe they can live without it...but its like saying you dont feed your fish in your 75g because they eat the pods off the rock. This may be true...but you're much better off in the long run feeding them and keeping them very healthy.

Doing this increases polyp extension and coloration...especially for sps...this is just fact.

keeping SPS is all about balance.

EXTRA feeding is needed, when the coral is not getting food. there is no need to feed a coral that has turned brown due to overfeeding
