How to grow GHA

I'm not kidding. I want some to grow in my tank. If any is growing, it is eaten immediately. I have been losing Zoas lately, so am thinking its possible some creatures are not getting enough algae to eat. How can I encourage GHA to grow? I'm a heavy feeder. Nitrates are 5. There are 6 T5 bulbs over a 65 gallon. That should get enough to grow some GHA, right?!

I thought some critters like to eat it? I've got an emerald crab and a money cowrie for instance. Surely growing a natural food for them is better than nori sheets?

I would much rather feed algae prepared foods rather than risk an outbreak of GHA. Your tank parameters are good, so you don't want to mess with them. If you want a bit more diversity, you can go the route of a fuge. This would provide a safe area for algae and smaller organsims to grow. You might also be interested in algae scrubbers.

Thank you. I can't add a fuge or scrubber right now, due to space constraints. I've tried a couple brands of pelleted algae and no creatures seem to eat them. They eat the nori, but seem to eat it only because nothing else is around. I thought real algae would be better. Maybe I am over thinking it? Can anyone recommend a good brand of algae off inverts?
Thanks!
