how to i change a PC bulb?

Help! I just tried to remove one of my old compact fluorescent bulbs, and the entire fixture came apart! It pulled the wires out of my fixture. How am i supposed to do this?

nevermind, i figured it out. The prongs on the bulb were corroded and lodged in the fixture. but nothing a pair of pliars couldn't handle!
