How to keep the L in LR

What is the minimum and moderate about of light to keep on some LR stored heathaly (not really a word, but fits!) for a couple of months without losing coralline?

I am currently holding several pieces of LR it in a tank with a heater and an empty canister filter for circulation. Already did the cycle in a rubbermade with skimmer.

Would a 13 watt twist 'sunlight' CF bulb do it or a flood light type with CF?

Coralline generally does better in low-light situations, so that should fit the bill (do the trick, skin the cat...whatever).

Will it need to be fed anything or will the trace elements in the Instant Ocean salt mix be enough. Weekly, bi-weekly, or less water changes?

Put a 100 watt equivalent 6500k twist daylight compact florescent in one of those clip on aluminum reflectors on top of it. See what that does?
