How to kill a damsel

- Can't kill it because there's no way to catch it.
- can't use a hook cuz it knows that you're waiting for him. The damsel is as smart as any other 4 legs animal.
- wet vac? no can do. This will suck other fish as well and stir up sand bed.
- Can't take the flame angel out, cuz now he's really scared and hiding in rocks most of the time.
I haven't tried the 2liter bottle yet as i don't have any at the moment.

leave the hose of the wet vac in the tank and wait for him to get comfortable with it...then stand by with your hand on the switch. Once he comes close flip it on just long enough to suck him out.

my 2 cents to the bottle trap--first, don't feed the day before you put the trap in. Second, before you put the trap in, punch a hole in the bottle near the cut end, so that you can quickly pull on the string to pull the bottle (in a mouth-up position) out of the tank as quickly as possible if you see the fish swim in. I just put a small weight on the "dry" end of the string so it would just hang outside the tank and I did not need to stand there holding it. I got a pesky pseudochromis out of the tank this way. I will admit it took several sessions of watching and some patience.
