How to kill shrooms

Hi all, I have mixed reef and hairy mushrooms are taking up too much estate.
I have already sold/traded some. However there are plenty more to be removed.
What I did was took the rock out scrape really low into the rock and remove the mushrooms. Seems like it came off pretty good.my next plan is to bake the rock In the sun for a week.
Will this eliminate all the shrooms or is there better techniques I can use to kill them.
I would like to do mostly sps tank now

Cook it in the sun will definitely work or you can use Kalk paste or Joe's Juice.
