How to make a lid for this tank

I've drawn a search blank on this question, really hope I can get some help. I've got my eye on a jumper fish that I'd like to get but I have no idea about how to approach a lid for my tank. If there's not a feasible approach, I'll pass on him but would rather not. This is in a family room area so it must look at least "OK". I've attached a couple pictures as I don't believe I can't explain the top of the tank that well. Plus side is that there's relatively little area to cover. Downside is that it's nowhere near a perfect rectangle/square between the bracing/lip of the tank and the overflows. Am I looking at a convoluted approach stringing together some BRS mesh and window framing hardware or is there an easier approach? I strongly prefer the latter as I experience relatively little enjoyment from DIY projects.:p

I was going to suggest a canopy but with all of that eurobracing the mesh top is probably the best option.

I personally cut pieces from plexiglass using a Dremel the only down side is if Ur lights heat up they might cause the plastic to melt
