Performance is relative I guess. :lol:
I need a skimmer for a new 40 breeder I am putting together and decided to work on a Turbofloater I had lying around. I am feeding it with an old MJ1000 and plumbed in a venturi to add air to the feed water. Used a spare Octopus 3000 needlewheel pump and plumbed it into the T1000 as the recirculation pump. Well it makes a boat load of bubbles both in the skimmer reaction chamber and in the sump. :lol:
Actually the reaction chamber looks great and it is stable at the cup. Just out of control micro bubbles coming from the exit water into the sump.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.
