How to make friends?

I added a Yasha Hase Goby and a Randall's Pistol Shrimp. Long of the short, I want them to be best friends. They came to the LFS as "a pair". Right now they are under a tupperware with hole poked in it that is on top of a buried piece of spaflex with a 45 on the end sticking out of the sand. How long should I leave the tupperware on before they know that is their home?

As long as they recognise that each other are there, thats all you can do. Even if they split they will usually find each other again.

He was really unhappy when I put him in my 30 gallon cube. Saltwater didn't agree with him.

They will find each other eventually, probably during the night.

They are both in the pvc pipe so hopefully they will be fine.

I would let them go. I place them with pvc tubing but I let them go after 30 mins.

lol, thats not a tortoise , thats an alligator snapping turtle. Not so nice as a tortoise

Actually he was just a regular snapping turtle, pulled him out of the Pamlico Sound.

either way, same turtle except one has a lure on his tongue and gets bigger, but that is a very nice sized regular snapping turtle!

You could try giving them matching sell phones, gold purses, and miniature poodles....they'll be BFF's forever.
