Ok my good buddy's (JEEMANN99) Anenome has just split but it is on the same rock as the other one and if we can get it off in a few weeks when it is healed up he will give it to me:):):) but we dont know how to move it from the rock its on and we don't want to hurt either of them................any ideas

Move the rock that the anemone is on, to a different spot in the tank. Preferably lower and/or under an overhang in the live rock. The anemone should begin to move to a spot with a similar amount of light as it had previously. Once the anemone is seen moving between its old rock and a new rock then you can remove it alot more easily. But you gotta be really gentle w/ it. Or you can just take the anemone home on the new rock that it moves to. Just hope that they both don't move to the same rock again.

if you can get at the foot just lightly nudge under it with your finger nail . keep doing this until it let's go . never had it take more than 5 mins and have removed several this way .

Take the anenome and the rock it's attached to and yell BOOOO it will get so scared it will just jump off the rock. Or just carefully chisel it off. I just did it a few days ago with an anenome that split and it took 10 seconds.

Its probably best to let it heal first. If you cant get a fingernail underneath, sometimes an icecube in a plastic bag can make it move enough to get a finger underneath (if the rock isnt to"jagidy"). Dont hold the icecube on the foot until it gets freezer burnt, but just for a second or 3.. the move the icecube away, then againnst th efoot for a few seconds, then pull it away.. then again.. Didnt his anemone just split when he got it? and now it split again already?
