How to move rittori off glass

I had to move my tank 2 months ago and for the first time, I had a problem with my anemone moving around in the tank. I plan to rearrange the tank like it was prior to moving, but now he is on the front glass. I don't want to injure the anemone, but I would like to remove the anemone off the glass and place it on a rock with nice flow and under my MH.

Thanks, Scott

Getting off of glass is the easiest and safest. I just push at the base of the foot with all 4 fingers of one hand 'till it starts to let go. Then work your fingers under the foot. Don't use your fingernails or a credit card like some do. Just be gentle and use your fingertips.

It may stick to your hand tho so be ready to place it fairly quickly. Healthy ones can get a good suction going on the base.

I have good results with using a turkey baster. Just squirt it at the edge of the base until you see it start to peel away slowly. Once it starts to losen its grip then use your fingers to free the rest of it.

it took me awhile to remove mine as well. I just slowly peeled it off with my fingers. goo luck

You can always use ice also. Freeze some r/o or tank water and place the ice cube on the area you want to loosen. The anemones let go real quick and it is not damaging at all. HTH

Not sure I'd bother trying to move it. It's going to go where it wants. Maybe change your waterflow around and hope it will move where you want it.
