This may be sort of a stupid question, but I think its time to clean my float switches, however, I got them from ATO.com with pvc guards already on them, and I'm not sure how I'm exactly supposed to get the pvc guard off.
Alright, I tried this a couple days ago. But I still couldn't get it off. I twisted both sides in the opposite direction and nothing happened. Am I supposed to pull out while I twist?
