How to properly install a durso?

That site makes it easy. The only mistake I made was that I made it too tall. The intake will be an inch or 2 lower than a normal drain would be.

I make my durso's very high. So high that there is no noise from water falling into the overflow. Do not drill one large hole in the cap. Drill 8 to 10 small holes instead. About the size of a toothpick is good. Drill until the water doesn't pull down in the overflow. Then drill a couple more. Since the holes are so small they will get salt creep in them you will have to clean every 3 to 6 months. I use an ro wet toothpick to dissolve it.
