What is best way to raise PH & keep it in check?

There are several methods, but what you really should be concerned with is keeping your alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium in balance and let the pH do it's thing. Excess carbon dioxide is usually the cause of depressed pH. The best/easiest method for fixing that is open some windows and let some fresh air hit the tank. It's been nice the last couple days here in MO. Open them windows.
