Like the title says, I have a nice rock with Zoas on it. In side the rock is one of those coral eating worms. I have seen some of the zoas around its hole die.
I have heard about suspending the rock over some water and the worm will crawl in to the water?

I'm about to just smash the rock with a chisel and have a bunch of frags. If any one knows a way to avoid destroying the rock and killing the zoas please let me know.
Thanks

ive been trying the platic bottle worm trapp w/o success, but maybe itll work for you.

try searching for "worm trap" and it should have some links. hth.

You could try removing the rock and pouring fresh R/O water through it or dipping it in the R/O water. It will kill off many invertabrates living in the rock but they will repopulate. Just watch for an ammonia spike afterwards.
