my anenome has been well behaved but recent a shifted rock caused him to move to the back of the tank, and now i want to remove him if he decides to go for a walk.
I think you risk more using ice cubes than you do peeling it up. I've peeled an anemone up more than once. Just slip one finger under it's foot and whala!
his foot is mostly viewable, but its pretty much flat on the rock... ill give that a try tomorrow after i talk to some LFS' to see if theyll buy him and a hammer coral.
everything i bought that stings has gotten too big. and i got the lps buy biting me
thanks, and my clowns hate you, for telling me how to do this lol
I had success with a piece of air line tubing and a air pump. Place the air line tubing with the bubbles coming out next to the anenome's foot. That part of the foot will release. Move to the next part of the foot attached, so on and so on until the foot is totally relaese from it grip.
i decided to keep him for a bit especially if he stays at the back of the tank where he is now... traded in some hammer to make room for some blastos i got. Reds, reds and greens and reds and blues for 50 bucks. the reds and blues are making a come back. so well see how they do
