How to remove built in Sump and build overflow

Hi Everyone i just bough this tank and it has built in sump on the bac kim thinking on removing it for overflow any ways beside cutting it ?

Well the issues is not just overflow the return connector is broken so i cant even use this built in sump, i need a way to remove this

Ok another question i guess i cant get rid of it sooo
the return is weird it on the bottom of the sump with like 15 holes how can i seal those holes ? silicon ?

Need better images to make any suggestion on how to remove.
My guess Probably very difficult to remove. But you might be ale to turn it into a refugium by drilling some small holes in it.

I Uploaded more pictures so one of them show multiple holes on the bottom thats what i was thinking to cover and drill another one as a return and additionally i want to drill bottom for drain and kind of have 2 sumps maybe ? what u guys think ?

To cover them you will have to glue a piece of acrylic over or behind them.

So i was able to remove the sump , havent tested the tank for leaks but i hope i didnt cracked it
now i need a bit help with remaining , anone know how to grind/sand those ?

Brave. nice job. Must have been quite awkward handling that saw in the tank.

I would try with a flush cutting double edge saw (hand saw). With that you can probably trim all of the top and bottom, and the supports coming out the center of the back wall.. The only thing that will be difficult to truly trim will be those two sides sticking out at 30 degree angles. I guess you could leave those in place.

Thanks , ill give it a try , i was also thinking maybe add 2 overflow boxes right on top of those lines to cover them, but seems cant find them in ebay
The problem with edges is they are sharp , i dont want have any sharp stuff it it
