how to remove dried corraline

I picked up the new 380g tank yesterday and it has dried corraline algae encrusted all over it. I have been power washing the tank for 2 hours now and I can't get it all off. Is there anything I can put on the algae to loosen it up that won't hurt me down the road? I hate to spray any chemicals in there. Any advice guys?

Distilled vinegar and bleach.

You will probably have to soak each side for a few hours.

Thanks Phil. I'll go whip up a batch and spray it on and let it sit for a spell. Then I'll get back at it. Jeez, it's a job cleaning this thing out. Can't wait to get it up and going....someday. Really gonna be fun to clean when it's up and going. I love it!

You are going to need alot of vinegar. Do not dilute it and soak each side.

so more parts vinegar than bleach?

You can add bleach to it but just do not dillute it with alot of water, yes more vinegar than bleach.
