how to remove mushrooms?

I have a rock that I can not remove from the tank because of how it is placed in the tank with other corals that have grown onto it. this rock has a large number of mushrooms on it I was woundering on how to get them off the rock with out damaging them. I would love to remove tham and mount them on rubble rock to sell. any sugestions?

Just slice them off with a razor blade. They'll grow back quickly.

You can use a flat blade screwdriver and chip away a small portion of the rock just behind the shroom... this will allow it to stay on a small piece of rock which can be glued to the rubble. The only other way I've been able to get them to attach to a rock is using the netting method.

I am trying to avoid them growing back. I want to put some rock over top of this area. the good thing is that when they grow close to another coral they dont sting them.

Scrap them off and then rub some calc past into the area - it will kill off the residue keeping them from growing back

another way is to inject them with kalkwasser using a syringe
