How to remove poly from rocks?

Hey,

So some gorilla nip polyps I have in my tank tipped over and were resting on the rock. Little did I know that they would attach so quickly.

I tried to gently pull the frag plug off the rock but it was firmly attached and I think I saw the polyp release something....I thought it might be some sort of toxin for self defense, and seeing that I dont want it killing everything in my tank I just left it alone.

Whats the best way to detach the polyp from the rock so I can place it where I want it?
