Ive been trying to take pics of my tank but now that my tank is alot brighter and bluer I cant seem to take a good shot. Any recommendations? Ive got a kodak v530 if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Not too familure with the Kodak cameras, but there should be a white balance setting that can be adjusted. That or you can make the image darker or more lighter, play around with it and you will be amazed at what it can really do.

Anything above 10K is very difficult to White Balance out with a point and shoot camera. You'll have to use some photo processing software to balance it out. In photoshop I can write a script than will apply a similar setting to a whole batch of photos.

This is what I did, I got this idea from a post a while back in the photo forum.
get a coffee filter (white paper type) place it in front of the lense and place the camera near the tank glass as if you were going to take a pic, go to the camera menu, find the white balance and do a reset of the white balance while covering the lense with the coffee filter, done!
try take a picture now with this new settings and you will see significant improvement in the color capture
