how to replace ecotech vortech ceramic shaft?

does this ceramic shaft come out if i pull hard enough or is it stuck there?

It is glued down. You will break it. You will need to order new wetside

they use to sell the shaft connected to the base plate. I bought one once and it was $20+ more or less. I don't see it anymore on their web site but i'd call and ask.
