How to stop an RBTA from moving around the tank

Whats the trick to get them to stay put and not move around the tank? About 8 months ago I bought a beautiful RBTA, and about two weeks after being in my tank it decided to go wandering around while I was at work and went right for my vortech, needless to say it was a bit of a mess. About a month ago I decided to try again and a few days later, same thing, right into the vortech....
Now I thought about leaving the vortech off while the rbta finds a home in the tank to its liking, but once that happens and I turn the vortech back on isnt it possible it will move around again because of the change of flow?
I really love these anenomes and would love to have one in my tank but im afraid to try for a third time only to end up with the same results..
Any advice will be appreciated, thank you.

what i did to get mine to stay where i wanted was to turn off all my pumps and used a very old weak pump blowing in the direction opposite where i wanted it to go. in a few hours it moved closer to the pump for flow. then i feed it a very small piece of squid (im not really sure what feeding does to make it stay but i heard feeding where it s at will make it want to stay) and then i left him there for 3 hours and turned every thing back on and he hasn't moved more then 1/2 an inch away from the spot. hope this helps.

It may and probably still will move. They are one of the few things in your tank you really have no control on final placement. It decides on where it will be happy and it will just move around till it is.....One day it may be in x spot and next morning it may be in y spot.

Exactaly as Phyxius stated. You can make a moat with sand but they can just inflat and glide on over. You can build a rock berm, same thing will happen.

They are like women, do what they want to do and you can't say anything about.

they don't like to move over rough objects, like Acropora corals, not sure if you wanted to keep yours corralled with sharp pointy things, but it can contain it.

Put it on the rock with lot of holes. It likes its body to be safe in the hole
