got them since 80 days or more
the orange one is fine , and growing slowly,
the yellow is decmposing at the edges, it was exposed to air for about 5 min. by mistake ( i didn't know that they absorb air as fast ) i did a cut for the dead tissue but it is continuing ,
any suggestions !

This is a guess. But having taken invertebrate zoology, it makes sense to me knowing their micro-anatomy. Cut the whole thing up into pieces. The only chance is that some of the pieces from the very middle will regenerate. It may have been too long that they were isolated from water filled channels, though. Try to make sure that at least some of the pieces come entirely from the core and contain no tissue that was previously on the surface. This is a guess, but I'd love to know if it works. Many sponges are extremely sensitive to air, and the damage will spread. However, they are very well suited to being chopped up and re-growing. Of course, you should do this under water.

I'm not sure from the photo, but it looks to me like brown algae growing, not decomposition. Try blowing it off with a turkey baster or something to see if it blows off. If that is the case it needs more current and food. Healthy sponge can keep the algae off, but less food means less growth and not able to protect itself.

it is not brown algae , sure , i tryed to make a point to see if it is really melting and it is .
food or other issue i don't tink so , the orange one is doing fine and growing i think !
i will wait some time , maybe a will give it a deeper cut .
any idea if we can frag them ?
