How to stop MB7 dosage safely

Hi everyone, how do I stop dosing mb7 safely? Slowly cut down? Or just stop?
Was wondering since it is a carbon source, and don't want a bacteria die off if I stop, or worse tank crash.

How long have you been using it and at what doseage? I use it out of habit, for about two years now, at 10cc/wk and doubt that if I stopped it would have any great effect. We started at the high nutrient level and reduced the amout as per instructions.

I would say I have been using mb7 for 6-8 months. Currently I am using 10 drops per day.

Microbacter7 is bacteria for seeding new tanks . The organic carbon source for that product line is Reef Bio fuel. I'd just stop. You don't need to introduce bacteria as those in the tank will do nicely.

Okay, I will discontinue the MB7. I do dose vinegar. As well as Elos bacteria should I continue to dose the Elos Bacteria? Or would the best way be to stop everything and stick with just vinegar?

Personally, I'd just stick with vinegar, but in theory, bacteria additives might help.

Let us know what happens on stopping the MB7. I've never thought it needed with vinegar, but a case like yours is nice to monitor for effects.
