How to tell if a 6055 is a new model

It would be hard to imagine that any old ones could still be in circulation, only a handful, less than a hundred with stainless steel shaft, ever came to the US. The last change was the quiet running prop and new clamp and both changes were made at the end of last year. If you are buying a new pump from a store that has at least modest traffic and sales it would be hard to imagine that a pump could still be the older version. The changes are very subtle and it is not very easy to describe or provide photos of.
