How to tell the difference between Picasso and Rod Onyx clownfish?

Oh I wasn't getting hung up. The three posts that were made in a row by me weren't actually typed by me. It was one of my friends that was on my screen name messing around. Sorry.

I didn't say those three comments, that was my friend. I know these are not Picasso clowns as I was informed which is fine. I am just glad to have these.

How big are they, could they still be juvinile?
Just to try to give a little more in debth response to your questions.
"Rods onyx" are from rods reef, a breeder of an amazing pair of "onyx" clownfish. The reason you hear so much about "rods onxy" is because they have amazing color & are IMO a very superior pair of clownfish with amazing bright orange color & black all over their body & dorsal fin. These color traits carry on to their babies (which is a ressive trate) So unless you get them from Rod they are not "rods onxy" You can however have "onxy" clowns from the wild.
Onyx is defined by black connecting all three white stripes. Not just thick black bars & very few people require that the dorsal has to be black to be called onyx but that is not the general discriptor. your clown with the full bars could be considered "onxy" it is not a very good onyx by any means & most who are crazy about onyx would not give it a second glance but that does not mean that the fish is going to stay just like that, it could still be developing the black. A young clownfish can develop up till about 18 months old.
As for your "picasso" question. "picasso" is defined by more than usual amounts of white on the stripes. Yours has less than usual amounts of white called "mis-bar'd" of course if your clown is still very small it could be juvinile & the stripes could fully connect still.

If you really want to get technical the only true onyx clowns need to be traced back too c-quest. Rods clowns can be traced back to them. Inland aquatics can be too...
Rods are some of the nicest clowns out there.
Some people think c-quest onyx clowns had some sort of genetic defect that caused them to look like this and some people feel they were brought in from the wild and c-quest bred them from there. Anyhow c=quest coined the onyx clown.
There also is the other side that thinks onyx is just a coloration pattern.

Dawman, shred5 and Jovreefer thanks very much for the information. By no means I am picky or crazy about how beautiful my clownfish are. I am just fortunate I saw these guys as a pair for $30. Not only was it a deal to me but they I still love their coloration.
As for their size, the female is almost full grown. The female is about 3 inches and the male is 2 inches. So is there a possibility that the male can still color up more or is he basically in full coloration?
