how to treat cleaner wrasse for velvet?

hello to all,

im my ever lasting battle to get my now cured of velvet fish back into their system i need to know how i treat my cleaner wrasse as from all of my reading and discussion i have been told to not treat scaleless fish with copper. So how do i rid this fish of velvet as even though it is not suffering the symtoms i fear it has been exposed to and host to the parasite and untill i can get the fish out of the contaminated display inwich he happily lives the tank is not fallow and im getting nowhere?

i dont want to consider euthenasia but really cannot see how to treat this?

Velvet is not something to mess around with. Use copper. Cupramine by Seachem is supposed to be fairly safe.

thanks for the reply, i used cupramine to treat the rest of the tank mates so that is simple,

i would be guessing it is a good idea to slowly introduce the fish to the copper so that i can dilute the levels if i detect any odd behaviour?
