how to use SMS122

I got a used milwaukee sms122. got instructions from http://www.milwaukeetesters.com/pdf/SMS110-SMS120-SMS122.pdf, but still not clear to me. i'm a lil slow

there's two power adapter, do i plug both into the power on the wall or do i piggy back them?

what does mains line mean in this instruction?

Connect the supplied 12VDC
power adapter to the meter and
to the mains line.

The 12v power supply (wall wart) powers the meter and is plugged into the wall outlet. The power block is also plugged into a separate wall outlet. The device you wish to turn on/off, a solenoid for example, is plugged into the power block. The power block is energized (turned on or off) based on the pH setting you choose on the dial on the face of the meter. "Mains line" = wall outlet.
