How wants to watch a 125 tank get cut up and drilled?

Well, I cut some 1/4" thick glass a couple weeks ago for the actuall external box. I just used one of those glass cutters that you score n snap with a staite edge. However, I pulled them out last night to silicone them together and noticed that the cuts are'nt that strait and wont sit flush against the tank. So, I'm gonna get a pro to cut these as I don't want to risk anything. My first thought was y-town mirror and glass. Then I thought to myself; maybe the old man (aka Stacker) can do it. So here I am asking as politely as I can after just calling him an old man.
 
He should take "old man" as a compliment. You could have called him much worse than that ;) Whats up Stack, you gonna help out this young whiper snapper or what?
 
I have glass cut when I need it. Never had much experience with cutting glass myself. I know the guy down the road (John's paint) uses a panel cutter to make square and angled cuts. I've watched but that's the extent of it. I'd suggest having a pro do it or we could make them from 1/2" Polycarbonate that I have here at work. Poly will attach to glass very well with top quality silicone. Don't cheap out on it, get aquarium sealer only!
 
Well, I don't know much about that Polycarbonate stuff. This is gonna be holding water on the outside of the tank. So, I wanna go with glass. I'll just get a pro to do it.
 
Well, I'm ready when you all are. I assume after the swap is best, but if you guys wanna make a date now I'm ready. Weekends are best for me. We can leave it for the following Meet after the swap. As you can tell I'm in no rush.
 
Weekend will be necessary because we'll need to make sure we can get everything done an the tank moved only once.
 
Well your schedual is most important now, because as of today I am in between jobs. I'll start a new post about that BS.
 
This Sat. is a possibility... but I might be over James V's dealing with his tanks. I'll letcha know.
 
Spoke too soon! I just got an order today I'll have it done by Fri. and will have to install Sat. Bidniss first, sorry!
