How would the Bubble Blaster 2000 work on an ATB Econo 840 1.5?

Jeremy, do you think the BB 2000 would work well on the ATB 840? I want something with more airflow than the modified Sicce pump that comes with the 840. The dimensions on the 840 are an 8" cone base that is 20.5" tall. If you think this would work, then I'll try it. Also, the Sicce pump uses a silicone hose to connect it to the skimmer. Can I do something similar with the BB2000 with regards to the silicone hose connection to the skimmer? Thanks

I think the BB 2000 would be a pretty good fit for that skimmer body. The problem you'll run into is getting it to meet right up with the body. You will have to be a little creative with your plumbing to make it work.

Hey I also have this skimmer and am in need of a pump.

Jeremy, I haven't been sure which pump to get. Any recommendation between the BB 2000 versus the Eheim compact needle wheel for this skimmer?

Thanks,

Rafael

I really think the BB would be the way to go. While the Eheim is a very good, quality made the pump, the performance compared to the BB 20000 just won't be there.
