How would you convert anthias over to pellets

I have some lyretail anthias that only eat frozen food. Put a few pellets in the tank and they won't even taste it. Really the only fish that would taste it was my midas blenny

Just keep throwing the pellets in there. Eventually they will eat them.

I just got mine on flake and pellets . i just mixed it in with the frozen . at first they would spit it out , now they eat everything..

Interesting. I'd like to get my lyretails onto pellets, so I can use a fish feeder for supplemental feedings during the day.

Do you remember how long it took before they started eating and not spitting out the pellets?

Try moistening the pellets with the water that melts off frozen food. A minute or two soak seems to make them more palatable to new fish.

Not an anthia but I also mix flake and pellet with frozen for my scooter. It only ate pods when I got it, now it's on frozen and accidental flakes and pellets.

i usually put anthias in a qt tank since they are so fragil! then i would mix pellets w/ mysis and give it to it every hour. takes a while though!
