Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the anemones growing on my live rock so that I can get my octo soon?I really want the octo and my tanks just about done cycling.I understand that anemones can sting the octo, this is painful and life threatening to the octos right ? Oh I will be getting a bimac.

Shall we assume you are referring to aiptasia or majano type pest anemones?

If so, Joe's Juice, a kalk slurry, hot vinegar injections, peppermint shrimp, berghia nudibranchs or all the former are a good start ;>)

Use peppermint shrimps that way there will be a nice expensive meal waiting for your octo when you put it in . J.K, I vote for Joes Juice. I have used it with great success, one little squirt and they are gone forevever. Good luck
