Hi folks! I've posted a hello message in the newbies area but I figured is say hello here, too. I'm in Round Lake so I guess this is my new home!
I've been reading (and watching) a lot about reefing for the past couple months and can't wait to start my own tank. Which isn't to say that I plan on rushing it. I've been taking notes on how long I'd have to cure my rock before setting up the tank... And how long to cycle the tank before getting my first fish... Etc.
Anyway, I figured I'd say hello to my new neighbors. So far the only LFS I've gone to is Something Fishy in Fox Lake.
I've been taking notes on beginner inverts, fish, corals, etc. Haven't decided between starting with a smaller 10/20 gallon tank, or starting larger at 40-120 gallons. My GUESS is that I'll go with whatever I find inexpensively first!
