How's everyone's frags?

Mine are all looking ok except for Bobby's Poci, which isnt going to make it (lost a bunch of tissue, just two tips left) and the orange cap that is a little bleached but should be ok.

Matt's purple digi is already encrusting the plug, which is amazing to me after only a few days. It had an aptasia on it too - really small - that was somehow eaten by an asterina (at least I'm pretty sure, saw aptasia, saw asterina in the same spot last night, today there is no aptasia). If they took it out, I'll start selling them - I have about 50-60 of them. :)

I think Joe took the Acan frag from me - how's it doing?

Yeah, there was one on the underside of the green cap too, but I zapped him while acclimating. No biggie, I think everyone gets them sooner or later - kinda like a right of passage. :D

Next time I'm charging you.

For the frag or the aiptasia? :D

They are NOTHING compared to fighting monti-eating nudibranchs. I had/fought those suckers for months, but finally won. (Only to lose to a heater a few weeks later).

EDIT: If this club can learn from all the stupid stuff I've done over the past 6 years, I'll consider it a victory in the long term.

The LE brown monster colonial glass anenome. Sorry about that, yes I do have a few in the tank now, I do usually try to examine them and scrape them off, just got overwhelmed with giving people stuff and didn't have time, I guess I forgot to check. Have a good one guys.

I just noticed last evening that the Acan frag was sitting down in my rocks. I am P.O'd!!!!!:( I don't know if one of my fish decided to taste it or it just was unhappy and left go of it's mooring. It still looks bright orange under my actinics, so I'll just leave it where it is and see if it survives. I sure hope it pulls through. This just really ticks me off, and if this kind of thing continues, I'll be going fishless, and may have a few fish frags to trade.
The pom-pom xenia Matt gave me didn't last through Saturday, as it was uprooted and was blended through one of the Vortechs. The pulsing xenia made a great start, however, and is pulsing away. At least, it does when I have the flow in "feed" mode.
Everything else (from Bobby) is "so far, so good", and I have my fingers crossed.

Acans are notorious for doing that if they get too much flow. It should settle in a place it likes - just feed it some mysis. Alternately you can super glue it to some rubble and put it in low flow until it attaches.

I have another frag that it doing pretty well, once that grows out I can frag a bit more. I almost lost the colony, and whats left in the display isn't doing as well as the frag tank (better feeding in there).

All of frags I received are doing very well, thanks again to all. The purple poci that Bobby gave us all is not any better nor any worse. The part that is alive looks good, I am just going to leave it alone and see if nature will do its thing. Thanks to Bobby for the "whisker" lps frag, amazing creature, neat to watch it eat. The purple acro that trippkid fragged at the last minute is a very pretty addition to the tank, thank you. Look forward to next meet, to be able to share some frags that I will have. Kind of cool to pass around each others different species from tank to tank. Post some pics later this weekend.

Mine are all doing well. The purple poci is actually looking better each day (pocis do really well in my tank for some reason) and the other stuff is all growing nicely. :D

I forget who got some of what I brought along, hope it's all doing well!
