HQI and E-ballast question.

Greetings fellow reefers,

I hope all is well. I am working switching to MH. I am having 2 DE Hamilton pendants with selectable Lumatek e-ballasts (150w, 175w, 250w & HQI).

So When running 250w Phoenix DE bulbs.

Am I only allow to run only HQI mode on the ballast or I can use the 250w mode as well?

both will work but hqi is closer to spec. for the phoenix...

It will be OK on HQI. If you get a chance to get M80 ballasts, then I would do it, but no hurry. The M80 is better, IMO.
