Huge Leather?

I meet this lady that is selling her tank I went to her house and seen something I have never seen before. A leather that was about 30in tall and 12in wide HUGE...... Have you guys ever seen one and what is it worth as she is selling it?

Not for sure what it's worth. I have a 15" + Dia. toadstool leather in my 400G tank. Worth about 100 bucks. I've also seen one about twice that size at the Long Beach Aquarium.

Yea well she has it in a 75gallon and it is taking up literary half of the tank. She wants $100 for it and was wondering if that was a good deal?

Is it a kenya tree or such? Or a toadstool? Can you get a pic of it?

Its a toadstool and I will have her send a picture of it when she gets home

That's a very long stalk for a toadstool. Mine's only about 5" long. Maybe reaching for more light.

I'd say 100 bucks is a good price.

A toadstool that large is truly rare to see.

She probably had to pay someone $100 to take it off her hands.....a toadstool can grow that big in just a few years, and few people have the space for something that large.

It took more than just a couple of years for mine to grow that big. It's about 6 years old now.
