Ok tried editing... I spelled Equipment wrong in the heading... ouch.

I have a ton of equipment for sale. Most of it is brand new still in boxes and some used stuff. I love the hobby and everyone who participates so I am here to help and not to push a defective product.

Some members here have some sort of issue with selling alot of equipment in a short span of time. Well... Ill post this and hopefully you all will see that I truly am out here to help both myself and you all. Some of the stuff is $5-$10 off of retail... others are $50-$100 off retail or salvage value. None t less everything is cheaper than buying elsewhere. If I didn't care about our reef club than otherwise id hit craigslist and ebay up.

OK NOW... Here is the story. I was contacted by a friend 2 months ago to build a reef tank in Philly. It was supposed to be a complete reef setup ready to go at a flick of a switch. Long story short... some words were exchanged via some social networks and now she has decided not to follow through. Now here I am with a ton of equipment sitting in my unfinished apartment.

I will provide a picture and a price. Even a short description. It is up to you all to do research on the product.

Here we go!

Lighting Inventory
2x – SE Metal Halide Reflector/Ballast/Mogul/Wiring/Generic Bulbs ----- $100 each

These I picked because 250 watts should be plenty PAR to reach anything on a 21” deep tank. If placed 10-13” above the water, these should not bleach anything at the top of your tank.

3x – Hagan T5 High Output Ballast/Waterproof Endcaps/Wiring --- = $50 each

Hagan is a reputable brand and does not overdrive their lights. It also comes with waterproof endcaps for a great price.

2x – T5 High Output 36” directional REFLECTORS ---- $20 each

These reflectors have clips on them to hold the bulbs in place which is great. They also have a 97 % reflection rate.

1x – Euroreef CS-6 Skimmer w/Gatevalve ------------------------- ------------ = $250 > COMPARE AT $538.00

This skimmer is awesome! It’s been discontinued because the company was bought out and redesigned models were released. I got this skimmer for the cheap because it is cracked at the bottom but what the hell is a crack going to do in a tank full of water especially after the crack has been sealed? I guess it just doesn’t look as pretty but to me there is no such thing as a used skimmer. I drilled it once to fit a ¾ bulkhead. I decided not to do the RECIRC MOD due to space constraints. This does not mean less performance. This simply means that the water is being drawn from the sump as opposed to the main display. There is now circulation from sump to skimmer to fuge to return as opposed to Recirculation inside of the skimmer body.

1x – Sedra 5000 Skimmer pump USED w/ Venturi Enkmat MESH MOD ---------- $65
This pump scares me. It’s original manufacture intended purpose was up to a ASM G3. But I believe its power will be of an advantage as I hollowed out the airline tube for more airflow and added a makeshift silencer. Also I cut the teeth off of the venturi style propeller inside the pump and replaced it with 2 sheets of ENKMAT. I also have a package of extra mat if need replace.

1x – Reverse Osmosis 6 stage DI/Carbon/Micron Filtration System --- = $145 plus shipping = $170

I sprung for this one honestly because I wanted to see the difference between a generic brand to a top dollar brand. Your Water General brand does have a 6th stage but it’s just another small DI chamber. With this unit you will be able to take whatever water in your apartment and transform it to pure water for your tank. Think about this… NO MORE FILLING YOUR TANK!

That's it for now... I think I may have some used mag drives laying around but I hope to regain most of the money I spent on the equipment. Great prices though! And no shipping which is half the battle.

Ok I decided to list the Euro Reef and Sedra together. It's on a 5 day auction thus if you want it I can stop the auction. I have them both listed for $210/shipped... I think that's a great price for a well built skimmer... Here is a picture of the bad boy...

Hi I was wondeing if I could get some info about the LED lights. Ive never used LED and would lik to know what size tank that would be decent for? Thanks!

The LED Lights he has on there are Moonlights so they will just accent your tank, or provide "night" lighting for your tank not a main source of light
