Huggins 45 gallon piece of Reef

Everything is going ok with the tank. The corals are great.

I am still dealing with tuning in the skimmer and now I have some microbubbles that won't go away. I also had to move the Toad stool because it was getting huge. Now that it is in the back it hates me. Only opens up half the time. I also added quite a few new corals Mostly SPS but you will see a few hammer frags in the front. i also placed the GSP on the back glass with some magnetic cleaner things I had.

Now I just need to have patience and let this baby grow out.

My attempt to show my new Sunset Monti. It was bright orange in the last owners house and turned brown immediately in my tank. But the yellow / green poylps are awesome. Going to move the purple cap to another location.

This is the side you see when you enter the room. My anemone's and duncans.

I need to pull out the Digital Camera and try to get some quality pictures. These basically just show where the corals are. You can't tell the colors or how they are spreading. Still it is going to be fun looking at old pictures in the coming years.

I added an extra t5 bulb to go with the black box led. I really like the added pop.

I have made a few changes. I decided I needed to redundancy. So I added a Reefkeeper lite. It controls my heather, kicks on a fan over the sump if the temp rises, also use it as a timer for my lights, and using it to control my top off. I just don't want the top off running any longer then a few minutes at a time.

So far so good. I also added a t5 ATI blue plus bulb. I feel it makes the colors pop just a bit more then the black box LEDS.

Issues:

The bleached tri color acro that I purchased bleached is still bleached. It hasn't changed. Still had a bit of extension but that is it. I need to lower it. I also bleached my lobo. It will notice it sitting behind the torch in the sand. I hope it colors back up. I recently ordered some acans and zoas through ebay. They should arrive Thursday and that should "complete" the tank as far as corals go.

The duncans have already tripled in size and the montis are all encrusting.

The micro bubbles issues I was having has settled and is much better. I still flip off the skimmer if I am home and want to just enjoy the tank but itn't that bad.

I am considering adding some red cyano rx. I am running carbon and gfo and plenty of flow but still have cyano on the sand.

It took an old fixture and took it apart. That was the only way to get it to fit.
