Humidity, how do you stop it?

Wisher of the redo button
With my setup I have basically a sealed under cabinet that of coarse holds a ton of humidity cause of all the components inside. I have cut a hole for a 6" fan in the top right of the stand since I took this picture but I have to have it on full speed to stop the humidity. The problem with that is it is really loud!

Without the fan the setup is near silent but the inside drips with humidity, with the fan on full it's dry but sounds like a plane is landing.

I would like to get peoples opinions on what to do or what they did.
Thanks for the help!

What kind/size (( thinking 6" )) of fan do you have? There are some that are very quiet.

Another option, if you aren't having temp issues, is to cut and place some acrylic pieces over your sump, would help to keep some of that humidity in the sump itself. Might not work perfectly, but might be enough to allow you to have your fan on a lower speed.

Try another fan on the other side pulling humid air out. One fan pushing in dry air one pulling out humid air.
A dehumidifier would be a help also.

Figure out the cubic feet of your stand and buy a fan rated for a little more than that. You can get little 12 and 24 volt fans at electronic stores. They even say how many Decibels they are.

Buy a 120mm computer fan! That should solve the problem and you wont hear a thing! HTH

Click on my build thread little red house ^ I had to do the same thing!
