Humidity is it?

I have an inwall tank, its in a closet like room with a door to the bedroom hallway and a door on the back far side to the attic. I noticed in the attic I have my ladder in it and it has a lot of moisture on it. I have an exaust fan and a heat and air vent. So I think that the exaust fan might not be enough. Would a dehumidifier work or something?

AND you have to empty it...unless you plumb it out to somewhere else...can you just get an attic fan with a humidity probe on it? we got one for $75 with temp and humid probe at lowes...

I'm not to worried about heat because the temp is very consistant.
Only thing I'm concerned about is a few of my fish show a very slight stress from time to time since winter hit.

you need to get any fan(bathroom, etc) venting out the vents of the attic and not into your attic space!!! that is bad and you WILL eventually have problems.

Well it happened when I let both doors(attic&hallway) open to circulate
air through the fishroom. Usually its not damp in there.

you could install a bathroom fan on a time in the ceiling of the fishroom and vent it to the roof vents. then you could set it to run every cpl hours or so

I do have a fan vented to go outside, but I'm not thinking it's enough.
It's on 24/7. The builders said it would last 1 and 1/2 years. It has been a year so far.

I built an aquarium room in my garage and am having an HVAC person vent the room through the roof and a fresh air intake from through the roof. All this to prevent humidity damage to my house. You definitely do not want molds and rot.
