Thought I saw a recent thread but am currently looking it over I guess. What brands of dehumidfier have you used and what advice do you have about the topic? I have a couple hundred gallons total and im sitting at 60% in the basement, need to make a move before things get beyond my control.

I just bought a Frigidaire 70 pint/day unit from Best Buy and leave it on continuous high and I'm taking 5-6 gallons a day ish from my 300 and 120 in the back room.

We have had two Frigidaire dehumidifiers. I don't run them for my aquarium, but because pulling humidity out of the air in the summer keeps the house feeling cooler.

We had our first one about 7 years and it ran pretty much non-stop April through September. Clean the filter, keep the drain hose clear, and you're good to go.
