I have lots maybe not hundreds but they are all over the bottom they appear to be tiny shrimp but im not sure because i cant see any distinctive features beccause they are so small. It does appear that there are a few bigger ones which are definatly shrimp but they are clear and still very tiny but have visible distinctive features. Are these good to have? Do you have them?

do you have peppermint shrimp? I know they will "make babies." Don't worry, your fish will eat them all up quickly.

Possibly live mysis. I have 'em in my sump, but only a few. Anything in extreme numbers isn't really good. Should be harmless, but I am not sure of the impact on the system when they are in such high numbers.

Pods in high #'s aren't going to hurt anything. Once there is not enough food to support them, some will die. Are you feeding too much? Also if you have so many I'm sure you're fish will get to eat many of them. .

Back when a had more peppermints(carpet has eaten atleast a couple), I had those guys runnin around all the time. I still see them, just not like I used to. The only problem they gave me was an over-weight issue for my manderin. ;)
